An afternoon dedicated to music, young talent and sharing. The Spring Concert brought the sounds of Giacomo Menegardi’s piano to Podere Aurin. Winner of the 2023 Premio Venezia, he guided the audience through an encounter between culture and local heritage.
On Saturday, 18 April, the screening room at the Podere Aurin Winery in Fonzaso hosted the Spring Concert, an event created to bring together musical excellence and a place deeply rooted in its local territory.
The talent of Giacomo Menegardi
The concert featured Belluno-born pianist Giacomo Menegardi, winner of the 39th edition of the Premio Venezia in 2023, a national piano competition held at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice.
Despite his young age, his musical career has already taken him to prestigious stages in Italy and abroad, from the Sala Grande and Sale Apollinee at Teatro La Fenice to Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, from Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza to Steinway Hall in Barcelona and Lang Recital Hall in New York.
In Fonzaso, Giacomo Menegardi presented a programme featuring works by Mozart, Debussy and Schumann, offering the Podere Aurin audience the opportunity to discover three great figures in music history through the piano.
A stage for young talent too
The audience was also welcomed by “Benvenuto in musica”, a special performance by students from Professor Gisella Galatà’s piano class, attending the A. Miari and Arte Nuova music schools.
This was a particularly meaningful choice for Podere Aurin: alongside an established pianist, the event also offered a space for younger musicians and the musical journeys they are building through study and passion.
Where music, local heritage and togetherness come together
Following the performances, the afternoon continued with a food and wine tasting featuring wines from Cantina Podere Aurin, providing a convivial conclusion to the event.
From music to flavours, the afternoon offered different ways to experience and share the local territory.
