An evening of words, listening and sharing with Mauro and Marianna Corona marked the beginning of Podere Aurin’s new series of cultural events.
On Friday, 20 March, at the Podere Aurin Winery in Fonzaso, the event “When Nature Inspires: The Mountains as a Way of Life” inaugurated a new series of gatherings dedicated to culture, local heritage and the relationship between people and nature.
The evening featured Mauro and Marianna Corona, who took part in a conversation in which the mountains emerged not simply as a geographical place, but as an experience capable of shaping the way we live and tell the story of the world.
Between trails and shelters for the soul
Marianna Corona presented “Rifugi per un tempo sospeso”, one of the two works at the heart of the evening. The presentation of the Podere Aurin event described the journey proposed by the two authors through the image of “trails and shelters for the soul”, with the mountains ideally set on the boundary between silence and listening.
“Fiorire tra le rocce” also featured during the evening, in a more intimate and introspective moment that brought to the centre of the conversation the ability to navigate life’s most difficult moments and rediscover one’s own balance.
Mauro Corona, in turn, guided us through “I sentieri degli aghi di pino”, his work presented on this occasion at Podere Aurin.
Stories, images and reflections brought to life the mountains as an experience to be lived before being told: a place where nature, memory and everyday life intertwine, becoming an opportunity to listen.
An evening of meetings
Adding a special touch to the occasion was the presence of Costante Biz, known as “Il Poiana”, who joined us as a guest for the evening.
As the event came to a close, the experience continued through flavours: the evening ended with a food and wine tasting featuring Podere Aurin wines, transforming the winery into a space for conviviality and sharing.
Because this is precisely the spirit behind our vision of Podere Aurin: not simply a place where wine is made, but a space where people, local heritage, culture and stories can come together.
