A LONG-HELD DREAM
At a young age, Gianni Gorza was fascinated by the stories of a Prosecco producer from Valdobbiadene who supplied the family shop in Aune.
Every week he discovered fascinating anecdotes about growing and planting vines, harvesting and the subsequent winemaking process. Those stories filled him with wonder and deep admiration.
As an adult, inspired by those youthful memories and by a passion for viticulture strengthened through his studies in agronomy, he developed a powerful desire to become a wine producer.
Today, many years later, that childhood dream has come true.

The first vineyard
Gianni chose the slopes of Mount Aurin, a striking place overlooking the Belluno Dolomites, to make his dream a reality. The vines take root in unique soil, rich in history and distinctive features that give the wines an unmistakable aromatic profile. The mountain microclimate, with its temperature variations and abundant sunshine, helps ripen grapes rich in aromas and flavours.
2019
A life project
Podere Aurin was born from Gianni’s desire to create an excellent wine. The entire family, from his wife Maria Teresa and their daughters to their grandchildren, helps make this dream come true, taking part in planting the young vines, tending them and finally harvesting the grapes. As Gianni often says, “Strength lies in unity.”
2020
Podere Aurin in Sicily
Expanding beyond its Dolomite roots, the Gorza family ventured into Sicily, where Grillo vines are cultivated. This new undertaking has produced an outstanding white wine, distinguished by bright acidity, floral notes and mineral nuances.
2022
A growing success
The family’s commitment and dedication are soon rewarded. Podere Aurin wines receive prestigious awards at the EnoConegliano competition, a success that fills the company with pride and confirms the quality of its products.

A new home for a dream that lives on
To welcome its wines and visitors in the best possible way, Podere Aurin opens a new headquarters. It is a welcoming place where history and tradition blend with innovation. Through tastings and events, visitors can discover the story of a company defined by passion and quality.

Events at the winery
A year marked by opening our winery to new forms of dialogue and encounter. Podere Aurin strengthens its role as a local point of reference by hosting a rich programme of events, including literary presentations, a piano concert and private events designed to combine art, music and culture with authentic tastings of our products.
